- Dry Stone Walling
Dry stone walling (also known as wall cladding) is a centuries-old technique to build houses, fences, entry pillars and garden ledges, and we continue this masonry legacy to this day. For over 50 years we have been hand-sorting the materials for application in dry stone walling.
Our wall cladding falls into two categories:
- Castlemaine spalls: From our unique Castlemaine Stone range, this style is from Victoria and usually results in a stacked surface about 250-300mm thick. We also offer the Castlemaine Strata option, which is a smaller selection with a maximum depth of 120mm and is generally stacked in front of a block surface.
- Wistow Bookleaf: Our Wistow Bluestone comes from South Australia and is fantastic for creating a natural, yet elegant look. This stone is only available as bookleaf walling, as there are no cut tiles. The Wistow is sorted into size and thickness, and it is a very popular and versatile wall cladding product because of its flat profile.
If you're considering wall cladding, please give us a call or come and visit our showroom, where you can speak to one of our experts about your next project and see exactly what we offer.
