Yarrabee & Castlemaine Stone Solutions offer Castlemaine Slate in the following sizes and forms:

 

Random (Crazy) paving
"Castlemaine Random Paving" is sorted into various thicknesses to suit specific applications. Used as wall cladding the "Veneer" at a thickness of 10-20mm is ideal. For general paving the 20-30mm or the 30-40mm thick stone is generally preferred. And when a more "bulky" look is required for instance as a coping edge to a pool, to 40-50 or the 50-70mm stone is used.

 

We can also provide stepping stones which can be set in lawns or loose pebbles, Mondo Grass etc at 50-70mm thick in irregular shapes approximately 400-500 x 400-600.

 

Spalls
"Castlemaine Slate" walling material approximately 200-500mm long x 200-500mm in height and up to 300mm deep with a reasonably flat top, bottom and one face. Mainly used for construction of walls, fences and houses. Sold by the m3 and comprising approximately 3 face m2 per m3.

 

Natural Strata Walling
Castlemaine Slate walling material generally used as a cladding. 200-500mm long, 30-120mm in height and up to 110mm deep. Some pieces are cut along the rear edge to produce the desired width. Sold by the face m2.

 

Landscape Slabs
Various sizes, large flat slabs for landscape use. Priced per stone based on size and weight. We can even supply large flat stone with a natural straight edge which form ideal "natural" garden steps.

 

Garden Rocks
Football sized rounded rocks for general decorative garden work. Sold by the m3.
